Philips 'Evette' LW, MW and FM radio 1963

Early example of a multi-range portable made for a European market containing LW and MW and the fairly newly introduced FM band that never really too off until the 1970s when it was also made stereo. This one arrived at my door with the telescopic aerial missing and a nasty chip in the plastic on the top. The price was right and Philips never fail to disappoint me. It runs off 5 x 1.5v batteries with 9 transistors and double the amount of IF transformers for the FM use. A large mode or band switch will switch those over when needed. I cleaned the switches and controls and all worked fine, it was just a case of finding a new aerial and repairing the cabinet.
The back screws had been over tightened and broke the bolts away from the plastic, luckily most of the bits were inside and I glued them back with a rubber grommet in one case.

Two nuts that hold the back screws/bolts in place were glued back home
Oh I forgot the Band switch knob/lever was missing, so I made a new one wit the top off a miniature phono plug and a lollipop stick for a lever all glued together and tidied up with filler on the end.
So basically the previous owners had been a little clumsy with it's use, but hey it survived to visit me for an extended life. Good luck with your repair and if you need better scans of circuit let me know.
