A very sturdy construction, the top black part pulls from the red all in one moulded plastic container making it less likely to break when dropped.
As usual with French radios it uses 2 x 4.5 volt batteries in series. Nice gold plated fittings with a dial light and switch and detachable carry strap.
Print and component side of the internals shown above, just cleaned controls and switches, no real faults found on this set. Oh forgot, driver transistor in audio output stage was doggy, fitted an equivalent (OC81 I think I used)Batteries are £2 each, so that was my total outlay.
The chassis screws are each side of radio in the gold sections, then the black section pulls out, may need to remove wires underneath..
Display is illuminated from under black pointer and activated by red switch, this saves battery power. The top clear plastic is quite thick in order to let light travel though from bulb. Quite small and simple radio, but also quite sensitive to weaker signals, in all nice design and very reliable.
