Sinclair Micro 6 (1964)

This advert was also in Wireless World 1966 but only using a 1/4 of the page, as you can see by the price it was 1/2 the cost of the FM version and only 3 transistors. It was first on the market in 1964, so it was the old boy at this time. There was no selectivity as no IF coils used so it would have been difficult to get radio Luxembourg in those days, perhaps if you lived nearer in London. But again it was personal use only, not much better than a crystal set. It was powered by two hearing aid battery's that would leak and destroy.
