Sonolor 'Cosmos 62 radio

Paris, France made LW, MW and SW radio from 1961. Also comes with an attractive carry case. Runs off 2 x 4.5 volt torch batteries.
Inside the battery (pile) compartment there is to be found it's circuit diagram. Useful as in my case the sound output stages were very noisy (loud hissing) this turned out to be the first driver transistor, a top hat type that was tucked inside a rubber grommet. It was a P-N-P type germanium transistor and I fitted an OC77 that I bought from a workshop clear-out recently, on line they sell for silly money.
Other troubles were found to be electrolytic capacitors that have dried out with time, they caused low and distorted sound.
All the capacitors shown here with a red arrow were found to be faulty.
Some close-ups of the troubled components I found in this lovely looking and now sounding sweet again.
